A world-weary blacksmith has fallen out of love with his craft until he unconciously creates an ember entity, sparking chaos in the forge. “Ember” is a personal project that I have been developing over the last few minutes. The end goal of this project is to create a short 2D/3D animated film depicting the relationship between an old, weary blacksmith and young, energetic Ember entity.
"Shoe Therapy" is a short film based on Domino, my family’s cat. Domino has a strange obsession with shoes, in particular my shoes. She constantly messes with them especially if I have been gone for some time. Whether lying on top of them, playing with the strings, or outright sticking her head in the shoe, Domino has garnered a love for these gross and overworn shoes.
In a beloved kingdom ruled by the Godfrey family, Prince Henry's longing for adventure turns into reality when a tragic event transforms him into his toy "EE," setting him on a perilous journey with his cat Omni to reclaim the kingdom and uncover the fate of his parents after a devastating attack.
Red & Blue is a series of risograph prints that follow this pair of friends as they travel around through Lawrence, KS. With no words displayed, this story is left up to interpretation to the viewer. These images were created using film photography and digital illustrations that were then sent through the risograph machines to give Red & Blue their distinct colors.
